Other Events

Sometimes members organise their own weekend runs or travelling away weeks with groups of like-minded individuals.
These events are listed on this page as they do not come under the club umbrella of “BMW Club sanctioned events”. This page is available to any members wishing to gather together some members to go on whatever group event you are trying to organise.

Also posted on this page are national or local events which may be of interest to members.

Please feel free to send in details or your run or event together with some form of contact detail, (email address or mobile phone number is probably best). We will leave details on here until either the event date or if the organising member want the information removed. Please send the text, photos, or relevant documents to download, to webmaster@southeastbmw.com and the details will be posted on here. This is your website so make the most of it.

2012

EASTER 2012
John Burton is organising a trip out to the Oirschot Rally at Easter 2012.
Leaving on Monday the 2nd April and returning 16th April.
The trip is based around camping but all the sites have (I believe) mobile homes or cabins for hire and all have either restaurants or are very close to other eateries. Anyone wanting other than camping would be responsible for booking and paying for their own accomodation. Contact john at john.burton99@hotmail.co.uk

JULY 5th 2012
Another joint CSMA/BMW camping weekend has been proposed for Thursday 5th to Sunday 8th July. CSMA has already provisionally booked a number of pitches in the wooded area under their exemption certificate. This certificate only covers CSMA members. I will attend from the Thursday to the Monday and will sort a couple of runs. Excellent evening meals are available at the White Hart, Newenden (15 - 20 mins walk) and by then at a newly refurbished Indian restaurant/ takeaway at the campsite gates. Breakfast is self catering or at a nearby garden centre but not very early. www.rother-valley.com

SEPTEMBER 20th 2012
John is planning another visit to Northiam for a Thursday to Sunday/Monday on any weekend in late September to fit in with anything already in the diary for next year. Thursday 20th is best for me.
