The aim of the South East section is purely one of enjoying ourselves and motorcycling in whatever way we can. We also recognise that the BMW motorcycle is our choice and not necessarily the choice of others. Nevertheless, we are all happy to be part of the broader spectrum of motorcycling. All motorcyclists have been bitten by the so called 'bug'. The effect of this can be lifelong. Motorcycling is in our blood, it is our hobby and often a means of everyday transport. Perhaps it is our way of believing that it is still possible to feel free and at the same time develop the passion for riding our machines.

Wives, girlfriends and partners are encouraged to accompany their 'other halves' to any of the events shown in our Yearly Calendar and we are pleased to say that many of them do this. They are happy to involve themselves in the organising of the section functions and are very much appreciated for their commitment to this and most important of all for their very good company.
